Many people are ignorant of the purpose for which the Holy Spirit is given, though the Scripture speaks
very ciearly concerning God's purpose.

Those who had the Holy Spirit both in the Old and new
testarments had a common distinguishing feature.
They manifested power in their life and ministry. Moses

The Lord Jesus Christ had the Spirit without measure

There is, in Scripture a close, inseparable connection between the Holy Spirit and power. Where the
Spirit of the Lord is, there is always a manifestation of power and authority.

Therefore, it is very clear in the
word of God, that when the Spirit comes upon us at baptismal measure, it will be accompanied with power.
We have a responsibility to tarry in prayer until we are endued with the power from heaven.
