Elley finished her meal. Then the guy who was absolutely seeming like a doctor started giving her medicines. Elley took all medicines. Later she wanted to stand on her feet. So, she was taking efforts but doctor recognised she could not stand on her feet. Therefore, he stepped forward, swiftly carried and picked her up and put her carefully on the bed. As soon as he put her nicely on bed, he arranged blanket and helped to cover her.
After some time due to medicines Elley had fallen asleep and when she had been sleeping he started seeing her. His face had mixed emotions. On the other hand, the lady who was standing on the corner of the room, she was glancing both of them. Perhaps she was confused by seeing tears in doctor's eyes because on the same time she had noticed slight happiness on his face.
So, the lady took a long breath and cleared her throat. Then she asked him courageously, " Doctor Brian, if you don't mind can I ask you something? "
As soon as the guy named Brian heard that lady's voice, he raised his eyebrows and suddenly he realized current situation. So, he looked to the direction of that lady's voice. Then he noticed that she was observing him continuously. So, he smiled and said to her, " Well! Ms. Luna, What happened? Is anything serious? I mean What do you want to know? "
" Actually Dr. Brian, probably it would be very personal but now I think, I can not hide my curiosity; because I really want to know the answer of my question. So, please if you don't mind... Can I ask you a question? Even I don't know, what will you think? But I really need to ask! So please! " Ms. Luna was speaking hesitatingly.
Dr. Brian smiled and said, " Well! Then you should ask. Don't worry about output. You can ask me anything. If I know the answer I will tell you! "
" Dr. Brian, Who is she? Why are you so concern about her? Why were your hands shaking while entering in this room? Rather whenever you see her why do you get emotional? " Nurse Luna asked lots of questions in a single breath.
Dr. Brian was sillently listening her. So, she again started speaking. She said, " Actually, Dr. Brian I heard from other coligues that you are very sensitive about your patients but... Others mentioned that you are too attached particularly to her.
Sorry Dr. Brian! I know, today's my first day of internship and I am asking such questions. Which would not count in good manners of professionalism; but to be honest these all things are really mysterious and that's why I asked you. I apologize if I am interfering in your personal life. "
After listening nurse Luna's questions Dr. Brian took a deep breath and unknowingly somehow he stuck in his past memories. Intern nurse Luna noticed it, nevertheless for a while she maintained silence also but after sometime she started calling him. Somehow he also heard her voice and realized the present. Hence, after recognition he sighed a deep breath. On the other hand nurse Luna was staring at him suspiciously. He also understood her confusion. Therefore, he decided to tell her truth.
Once again he breathed deeply and started talking. He said, " Ms.Luna, She is Elley Fernandez and honestly she is my everything. She means a lot to me. She is my family. In fact, If this is not sufficient to clarify our relationship. So, you can put a tag of 'best-friends.' In short, She is my best friend. "
Brian briefly explained his relationship with Elley. After listening his words nurse Luna was feeling sad for Elley. She felt guilty also. That's why she sighed and said to Brian, " I am extremely sorry Dr. Brian! I didn't assume that she could be your friend as well. I am really sorry. By asking so much questions I hurt you a lot. "
" It's okay. Don't worry Ms. Luna. I can understand. Everyone suspects my possesiveness towards her. So, it's not a big deal. Anyways... Just Leave it. " Dr. Brian was hiding his feelings. Although, spontaneously he spoke to nurse Luna. Rather he smiled genuinely and forgave Luna.
" But doctor what happened to her? Why she is here? Why she is behaving like a kid? Why she is suffering? " Nurse Luna asked Brian. On the other hand when Brian heard Luna's all questions he again started looking Elley, who was calmly sleeping on the bed.
